Yes. The core platform — Career Passport, verification, networking, mentorship and applying to opportunities — is free for students. Our revenue comes from institutions, employers and sponsors. You will never be asked to pay to apply for a job.

Add your institutional email address during registration (or later in Settings) and click the confirmation link we send to it. Your personal email stays your sign-in address; the institutional address is only used for verification.

When you complete an ABIEdu microcredential, the record is supplied to StudentsToCareer by ABIEdu or an approved administrator import — with the certificate title, completion date, credential ID and verification link. You can't add verified credentials yourself; that's exactly what makes them trustworthy. Self-reported certifications have their own separate section.

Only you, until you decide otherwise. Every section is private by default. You can set sections to be visible to connections or the public, create a public profile link, and separately choose whether verified employers can discover you.

Open your Career Passport and choose 'Download résumé (PDF)'. It's generated from your passport data in a clean professional format.

Settings → Data & privacy → Delete account. Your public profile disappears immediately and your data is purged after a 30-day grace period (during which you can change your mind by signing back in and cancelling).

Report it. Until in-product reporting arrives with the networking phase, use the contact form with topic 'Safety concern'. Never pay an 'employer' — legitimate employers on this platform never charge applicants.

The platform rolls out in phases: profiles and verification first, then networking and Career Circles, then messaging, then the opportunity marketplace, mentorship, events and institutional tools. Your passport is ready for all of them.
